- Schirmmütze cap in black knit with black velvet headband, silver aluminum eagle and skull insignia, silver chinstrap and buttons, sateen interior, black varnished visor, silver piping, choice of size.

- Vareuse Modèle 32, 4-button closure, black knit, open collar with silver piping, 2 high pockets with watteau pleats, 2 low slanted pockets, silver back buttons, choice of size.

Carl Oberg biography:
- 08/1914 WW1 on the French front, 24th then 45th Field Artillery Regiment. Awarded the EK2 1914 and then the EK1 1914, he ended the war with the rank of Leutnant (Second Lieutenant).
- After WW1, he joined the Freikorps and took part in the Kapp putsch in 1920.
- 06/1931 Joined the NSDAP.
- 04/1932 Joined the SS, promoted to SS-Sturmführer on 01/06/1933.
- 09/25/1933 Head of the Hamburg SD with the rank of SS-Obersturmführer.
He was rapidly promoted within the Hamburg SD:
- 07/03/1934 promoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer.
- 06/15/1934 promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer.
- 04/07/1934 promoted SS-Obersturmbannführer.
- 04/20/1935 promoted to SS-Standartenführer, takes command of SS units in Meclenburg.
- 1937 takes command of the SS district of Hannover.
- 1938 he becomes Prefect of Police in Zwickau.
- 09/20/1939 promoted to SS-Oberführer.
- 1941 Chief of Police (SSPF), Radom district, Poland.
- 05/05/1942 Himmler appoints him HSSPF for occupied France, with the rank of SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Polizei.
He thus became the supreme head of the SS and German Police in France, directing the Gestapo, Kripo, Orpo and SD.
- 16/11/1942 incorporation of the occupied southern zone, Oberg has SS reign over the whole of France.
- 04/20/1943 promoted to SS-Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Polizei.
From then on, the French and especially Parisians nicknamed him “The Butcher of Paris”.
- 01/08/1944 promoted to SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Polizei.
- 11/29/1944 dissolution of his post as HSSPF Frankreich.
- 03/10/1945 promoted to SS-Oberstgruppenführer und General der Waffen-SS, he is on the Eastern Front, then in the SS legal department without any real assignment until the end of the war.

This uniform reproduction configuration places Oberg between 04/20/1943,
date of his promotion to Gruppenführer,
and 01/08/1944, when he was promoted to SS-Obergruppenführer.
This period corresponds to his nickname of “Butcher of Paris”.
